Core · Reporting

SEO reports clients actually open.

Each report carries its own sections, schedule and recipient list — pause one without touching the rest.

Pick the project sections you want — rankings, AI visibility, backlinks, audits, visibility index — brand the PDF, schedule the email and share a live read-only dashboard. One reporting layer instead of a monthly slide rebuild.

Trusted worldwide

Trusted by thousands of SEO pros

From solo consultants to global agencies — teams choose TrueRanker to unify SEO and AI-search visibility.

What reporting means here

Snapshot for the inbox. Live view for the week.

A report is a dated snapshot you email or open as a public URL. A shared dashboard is the live, read-only project view — always current, no login for the client.

Both pull from the same project. You choose which modules appear in each report, so a CMO gets the full SEO pack while a content lead gets rankings and AI visibility only.

  • Sections on or off per report — not one template for every client
  • Daily, weekly or monthly schedule with Active / Paused
  • PDF download, public report URL and multi-recipient email
  • On-demand ranges: 7 days, 30 days, this month, last month or custom
  • History of every generated report and sent email

How you deliver

Email, live URL or an always-on dashboard

Three surfaces, one project — pick the one that matches the conversation you are having with the client.

Scheduled PDF and email

Set Daily, Weekly or Monthly, add every recipient, and flip Active or Paused when a retainer pauses. The history keeps every send.

  • Multi-recipient lists per report
  • White-label sender on Pro and Agency
  • Generated-report and sent-email history

Live report URL

Generate for a date range, open the report in a new tab and share the public URL — or download and print it as a PDF for the board pack.

  • Last 7 / 30 days, this or last month, or custom dates
  • Public URL with no client login
  • Download or print as PDF from the report view

Shared project dashboard

Hand the client a read-only public URL to the live project. They see current rankings and charts between the monthly emails — without editing anything.

  • Read-only public link, unique and revocable
  • No password or SSO gate — disable the link to revoke
  • Same project data the scheduled report pulls from
What the client opens

One PDF. The sections you chose.

A structured SEO performance report — executive summary first, then the modules you enabled for that client.

Getting started

From empty Reports tab to a scheduled send

If the project already tracks keywords, the first automated report is a configuration step — not a new implementation.

  1. Create a report

Open Reports in any project, name the report and decide whether it is a one-off snapshot or a recurring send.

  2. Pick sections and filters

Toggle AI Visibility, Rank Tracker, Backlinks, SEO Audits and Visibility Index per report. Narrow Rank Tracker by device, location, tags or URL, and include up to three competitors. Connect Google Search Console when you want impressions and clicks graphs in the same PDF.

  3. Brand it and schedule it

On Pro and Agency, turn on white-label — your logo, sender name, sender email and subject. Set Daily, Weekly or Monthly, add every recipient who should get the email, and leave the schedule Active or pause it when a client is on hold.

  4. Generate now or let it send

Run an on-demand report for the last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month or a custom range — or wait for the next scheduled send. Download the PDF, share the live report URL, or open the read-only project dashboard for clients who want the numbers between emails.

What you get

Everything the monthly deck used to take

The unglamorous completeness list — the parts that decide whether reporting saves a day a month or costs one.

Sections per report

Turn AI Visibility, Rank Tracker, Backlinks, SEO Audits and Visibility Index on or off for each report — different clients get different decks from the same project.

Rank Tracker filters

Scope the ranking section by device, location, tags, URL, volume, position, cannibalisation and AI Overview presence before the PDF renders.

Up to three competitors

Pull competitor ranking distribution into the same report so the client sees your moves next to theirs — without a second tool.

Search Console graphs

Connect GSC once and drop impressions and clicks charts straight into the automated report beside the rankings they explain.

White-label on Pro and Agency

Your logo, sender name, sender email and subject line. TrueRanker branding stays off the PDF and the scheduled email.

Schedule and pause

Daily, weekly or monthly delivery with an Active/Paused toggle per report — no deleting a schedule just to stop one client.

History of every send

Generated reports and sent emails stay in the project history, so you can reopen last month’s PDF without regenerating it from scratch.

Six report languages

English, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and French — match the language the client reads, not the language your team works in.

API and Looker Studio

REST API on Agency for anything you build yourself. Native Looker Studio connector when the report should live inside an existing dashboard.

“I’ve been using TrueRanker since August on my own blog. What I value most is that it tells me every day what has happened with what I’ve already published, and the GEO score of the audits showed me that no Google AI summary was citing me. In my own language, with support close by, and a trial without a card to check it before paying.”

The work does not count until someone outside your login can read it.

Rank tracking, AI visibility, backlinks and audits only become retainable work when they arrive as a clear story on a schedule. TrueRanker keeps that story in the same project: toggle the sections, brand the PDF on Agency, email it automatically and leave a live dashboard URL for the weeks between sends.

You are not paying a second invoice for a reporting add-on, and you are not rebuilding the same slides because last month’s export will not refresh itself.

FAQ

SEO reporting, answered

What is an SEO reporting tool?

An SEO reporting tool turns tracking data — rankings, AI visibility, backlinks, audits and visibility trends — into something a client or stakeholder can read on a schedule. TrueRanker does that inside the same project you already track: pick the sections, brand the PDF, email it automatically or share a live URL, without rebuilding a slide deck every month.

What is the difference between a report and a shared dashboard?

A report is a snapshot for a date range you choose — generated as a PDF or a public report URL, perfect for monthly reviews. A shared dashboard is a live, read-only view of the project: the client opens a public URL and sees the latest rankings and charts without logging into your account. Most agencies use both — the email for the narrative, the dashboard for “how are we doing today?”.

Which sections can I include in a custom report?

Five modules, toggled per report: AI Visibility (brand presence across LLMs), Rank Tracker (keyword distribution and positions), Backlinks, SEO Audits and Visibility Index. Connect Google Search Console to add impressions and clicks graphs. Rank Tracker can be filtered by device, location, tags, URL and more, and you can include up to three competitors in the same report.

Can reports be fully white-labelled?

Yes, on Pro and Agency: upload your company logo and set the sender email, sender name and subject line. TrueRanker branding stays off the PDF and the scheduled email. White-label is not available on Starter.

How often can reports be sent?

Daily, weekly, monthly or on demand. Each report has its own schedule and an Active/Paused toggle, so you can stop one client’s send without deleting the configuration. On-demand generation supports last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month or a custom date range.

Can I send a scheduled report to several people?

Yes. Add multiple email addresses, separated by commas, on any scheduled report. The same PDF goes to your team and the client’s team without a second send.

Do clients need a login to see results?

No. Share the public report URL or a read-only project dashboard link. Clients view the data without an account. Links are unique and non-guessable; you can disable them from the project whenever you need to revoke access. There is no password or SSO gate on shared links.

How many reports can I schedule?

Scheduled-report limits are 5 on Starter, 15 on Pro, and unlimited on Agency. Pick the plan that matches how many clients you send to, then scale without rebuilding your templates.

Which languages are reports available in?

English, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and French. Choose the language per report so the client reads the deck in their market language while your team keeps working in theirs.

Is there a Looker Studio connector? Is there an API?

Yes to both. The native Looker Studio connector drops TrueRanker data into dashboards you already maintain. The REST API is available on Agency for pulling ranking and project data into internal tools or a custom BI stack.

Can I include Google Search Console data in the report?

Yes. Connect the project to Search Console and the report can carry impressions and clicks graphs alongside the Rank Tracker section — one PDF, no tab-switching for the client.

Can I put competitor data in the same report?

Yes. Select up to three competitors per report. Their ranking distribution sits next to yours so the monthly narrative is a comparison, not a monologue.

How does TrueRanker reporting compare to Semrush or SE Ranking?

TrueRanker includes scheduled PDF and email reporting in the SEO suite from $39/mo, with white-label on Pro and Agency and AI visibility as a toggleable report section. Semrush’s Marketing Reports white-label path is a Pro Report add-on at $20/mo on top of a $139/mo SEO entry plan. SE Ranking’s Core entry is €109/mo monthly, caps Report Builder at 10 reports on Core (30 on Growth), and puts white-label in an Agency Pack add-on at +€59/mo billed annually. See the comparison table above for the sourced row-by-row detail.

How long does it take to set up the first automated report?

Usually under a minute once the project already has data. Name the report, toggle the sections you want, set frequency and recipients, activate the schedule. Generate once on demand to preview the PDF, then leave the schedule running.

Stop rebuilding the same deck every month.

Set the sections and the schedule once — the reports send themselves. 14-day trial, no card.
